Welcome to Imperfectly Balanced Mom! Glad you came to visit! You may be wondering what you can expect when you visit here. First of all, I love personal finance and health and wellness. Those are the two main topics that I plan to write about and how they relate to a busy working mom. As a disclaimer, I’m not a financial professional, nor a personal trainer/licensed health practitioner, so whatever I share is just my opinion.
Some topics I plan to cover:
- Investing and saving – easy ways to get started investing and learning about investing, different ways to save
- Early retirement
- Health and Wellness – getting fit and healthy as a busy working mom, healthy tips/recipes
- Working mom issues – career, affordable outfits, etc.
There may be more, but my main focus will be finances and health. Those are the two main areas of my life that I have been working on and they seem to go hand-in-hand. You can save and invest all you want, but if you don’t have your health, then none of it matters.
Studies have found that people who were satisfied with their current financial situation were also more likely to stick with their health resolutions (http://www.cnbc.com/2015/01/26/fix-your-finances-fix-your-health.html). All the more reason to get financially and physically fit at the same time!
